how many would a 10 X 10 dog kennel w/ house and pool and do ducks lay like chickens or do they need a drake?

Depends on the breed... you wanna know what i keep in a 10x10? 4 calls.. and a 40GAL trough. They have some small trees too.. grafted, mini cedars etc.

I find it hard to give pen sizing without knowing how big the actual duck is, plus i mainly keep large breed here(Muscovy) they are not penned, i do have a 1/3 of an acre fenced around their barn & coop but i free range this is more for bad weather and dusk.

Ducks make short work of the ground really, really fast.. the calls have trashed that pen, all grass is gone.. i have been able to maintain quite a lot of grass in the fenced are for the scovies because it is that big.. and is only partial use. There are 19 ducks in it(two are buffs so they take less space lol)

I just wanted to reiterate that our ducks do get taken out for walks and garden helping, they don't spend all their time in the Day Pen. I am sure you will enjoy them . . . give them as much room as you can.
