Can they eat this??

Hi all!
I recently discovered that, if left out in the elements, chicken feed will sprout into grass. Since it has been cold lately in GA and no vegetation is growing, I have been letting my chickens eat the sprouts. But, I realized that I haven't researched if they can eat the grass. So, can they eat the sprouts??? Will it hurt them in any way? Thanks to anyone who answers my question!

The sprouts aren't moldy!

Oh yeah they can eat those sprouts, I'm convinced that's why mine kick food out so it'll sprout.

Some people intentionally sprout feed for this very reason. According to Pinterest anyway

What aart says. the scratch grains usually include cracked corn, which will mold. Many flock owners buy whole grains, and sprout them for their birds during the winter.
