My broody chantecler got a new batch of eggs today (hers were infertile), and she settled right in. I came back out to check on her, and she was dustbathing by the shed... so i looked at the eggs, and our Brahma 'Bankaw' is sitting on them... I tried to pat her and she fluffed up and trilled at me... looks broody... now Uncle Gumby (chantecler) is standing in the coop (has been for about 2 hours now) looking like a turkey! Totally Round with hanging down wings... like a strutting tom... and is just waiting for Bankaw to get off! Should I intervene?
