Can turkey's eat canned oranges?

I have a large can leftover and was wondering if it would be bad for them.

I don't think they will eat it, and I have read that citrus is bad for poultry.

I think it would be perfectly fine. Our chickens eat citrus all the time, and I don't think turkeys are any different.

I agree. They need a can opener. Mine also eat citrus. I'll throw rinds out and they will get the last bit of flesh off lemons and oranges. The rinds compost and provide a bright spot in the compost for a couple of weeks.

Are you getting rid of a can or trying to pre sweeten the turkey? My crew did not like orange flavored turkey. Wound up eating most of it myself.
