Can Two Roosters live together with no hens?

So, I know I said I was going to sell one, but here we are at 4 months old, and I still have 2 roosters in with the hens. Turns out one is a Barred Rock and one is either an Araucana or Golden Laced Wydanotte. Neither has shown any aggression so far. I'm thinking about just kicking them out to free range, but that might not turn out so well since they have been in the coop with the others for 3 months now. I'll try it. I would put them in the duck pen, but I think they would be mean to the ducks. All I know is, Charlie and Romeo are going to have to face some kind of change soon. (Don't worry-I would never eat my own rooster!) They won't like being taken away from their girls, but they'll be okay. I think they'll be fine on free range.

Alright. I'm kicking 'em out. haha. right now. I'm going out right now to kick the roos out and move the sprinkler.

I had 9, by accident....I re-homed them all at maturity...they did fine while I had them, a few play bouts but nothing serious...just play, I have 3 now, so far so good, I plan on keeping at least one for my 13 girls...maybe 2.

I have a lot of roosters that live together, have lots of roos that run together with hens too. It all depends on the roos temperament, I've had a few that just would go at it forever, but most will spar for a short time and then stop. I have a bachelor pen of all boys and throw any young roo in with them if they start feeling to big for their britches.... the older roos normally teach them their manners. I have a few roos that once the chicks are a certain age, even the cockerals , will take care of them, find them food, show them the best dirt bath places etc.... they are so caring with them.

yeah we once put 2 RIR rooster brothers in a dog crate to take them to my cousin who was going to raise chickens and they didnt fuss but in the end we had to take them back when he moved away and they were back in the crate again and now they are in a rooster pen they chase after each other every now and then

This is the boys (taken just last weekend), brothers who have been raised together. I find if raised together, brothers or father and son... that the answer to your question is "yes"... with or without hens (we are without hens for right now... long story).

I need to change my answer... after a year together with no problems, they have now tried to kill each other... found them both with bloody torn up heads and faces(really bad and they will not stop, even fighting with the fence between them) ... luckily no eyes put out... someone will be going to the Sale Barn.

May I know the reason why?

That's what I was wondering...I sell eggs for eating all the time and I have several roos and all my eggs are fertile. As long as you collect them right away and store them properly there is no reason to not let the roos stay right in with the hens

All my egg customers know that we have roosters and they still love our eggs. We eat them every day too
