I will absolutely post more pictures once I’m able. I will say that Goon 2 let me know that her flight feathers are fully in today as she was at eye level in the barn when I went in to feed them this morning . Wish I could have gotten a picture! She was very pleased with herself too. So much trilling and tail wiggling! Goon 1 flaps, but can’t get airborne. I guess we need a roof (for the daytime outside portion) more urgently now as catching the little buggers to trim their wings has been unsuccessful so far. Thankfully, she is very attached to Daphne and Goon 1 and is choosing to stick with them rather than doing a “Born Free” number. So far. Don’t worry, she will remain closely supervised! But, if it counts for anything in the drake vs. duck argument, her flight feathers came in first!

Haha my 3 girls are Winsor, newton and Sumo. The drake is Daniel. Winsor and newton are named after a paint brand, and sumo was named after the crazy kid in the Clarence cartoon. They don’t care that they’ve got boys names. They respond to anything we call them anyway, which is Winnie, Newty and Sumodahky (kind of said with a poor Japanese accent lol)
