Can you bathe 6 week old chicks

Iam in Florida and humidity is high and my 6 week old chicks look like their feathers are mated or is this normal?
I have been putting them outside during the day in a chicken tractor then bring them inside a barn at night.

Looks like they may have been playing with their water. You could make a dust bath for them to "bathe" themselves. Did they get into something? Is it greasy? Or wet?

I would not bathe them - dry them off gently with a towel if they're soaked. Definitely looks like they've been playing with water and the water looks like it's at ground level, so I would elevate it on some bricks.

How much space is in your brooder or tractor, whichever they're getting wet in? I find that chicks will tend to knock waterers over or jostle them enough to spill if there isn't ample room for them to stretch their wings and run around.

When they are inside it seems that there is less room than it was 2 weeks ago, I can raise the water up and I need to finish the coop up this weekend and move them into it, it is an 8' x 12' coop with an 8' x 12' run

Probably better not to bathe them. If it's already super humid it's going to be really difficult for them to dry out.

You might even take a hair dryer to them on low heat if they're still wet tomorrow.

Oh geez. Yeah, probably not. I don't know if they'd like some moving air that's not heated. You don't want to chill them obviously, but I don't know what the odds of that are if it's 94 out. We need an emoji for melting. Ugh. Poor things. I guess just towel/paper towel/kleenex dry them to the best of your abilities and let us know how it goes. Others might have better suggestions.
