Like here, heat's miserable and the humidity is torture ... My daughter's in Lithia, says it's been 'warmer' than usual.

They definitely can live outside in Florida...

You're going to be a professional chick dryer, that "look we breaded our self" stage is one they'll be in for a looong time. They pick up the pace in hot weather so you'll get extra!

Hmm since it's hot out they may be playing with the water to try and cool off - or it could simply be curiosity. If they're not TOO wet I might just leave them be, but if they're pretty soaked it would probably still be best to just gently blot them dry.
