Can you call guineas

I have 10 that are about 9 weeks old. They are stand-offish, and I haven't started free-ranging them yet (that will start this weekend), but when I step out on my deck and yell to them, they stop what they are doing and go to the edge of their coop run and look at me and start squawking, so I'm kind of hoping they might be inclined to at least come toward me when I call, after they get into the wide world.

I have been feeding them out of my hand.:)

Wow, that's impressive. Since ours were keets, they've wanted nothing to do with us. They'd wiggle free from our hand and run off. We have 21, so I somewhat think they just prefer to be with their kind, and to be wary of us. They are just over 4 weeks old now, not sure if they'll change their opinions of humans or not...

Great! You are well on your way. I have trained mine to come to bell. I ring a bell and reward with millet. It takes them a while to "get the connection", but when they do, you'll be able to train them to come in. I'm sure you could do the same thing with a call. We just thought a bell would work best if someone else had to bring them in. They do recognize differences between voices. If I can ever get it on video, I'll be sure to post. Good luck!

They really like grasshoppers from my hand!
They will almost eat pine chips out of my hand to .

Ha ha! Mine like sun flower seed, millet and I make them homemade cornbread!
I love watching them chase the grass hoppers! (Like they think they'll catch 'em!)
