can you color piguns fethers?

I have seen videos of people in Pakistan and other places, that have dyed their birds feathers. I’m not too sure if it’s good for them though.

A good racing pigeon should be able to out-fly hawks from what I’ve heard.

Also if you’re getting some racing pigeons DON’T get settled birds as they will likely return to where they were settled. Get some squeakers that haven’t been settled then settle them in your loft by making them an area near or on the loft that they can look out of and see their environment. Also you will need to trap train the birds and only feed them after their flight (you need to keep them hungry when flying).

When beginning to toss the birds do it in one direction and do it close a few times then do it further away in the same direction a few times,...

If you start tossing the birds in a different direction you will have to start close again then gradually go further and further.

That’s all the info I have for now.

thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is lots of anecdotal evidence, and at least one scientific study, that the dominant blue gene of pigeons, with the white rump, are way less likely to be hit by raptors. I have also read that raptors are very much likely to pick out an odd colored bird over the rest of the flock. That said, I don't think coloring a white pigeon will help much. I think you can only be sure there is a less likelihood of an attack to your blue birds, and therefore do not recommend coloring your birds for this reason.

do you know where i can get one?

One single pigeon is not going to last long, no matter what colour it is, if you fly it!!!

They depend on being in a flock for protection form predators..... more eyes to stop the predator and take evasive action, and the predator finds it hard to single out a bird from a flock to attack.
i9 know i am going to get at least 3 of them
