Can you freeze cream cheese.

I made a corn casserole that calls for cream cheese and it it in the oven. Was suppose to go to a cook out but DH decided not to go. More than we can eat in a few days. If I can freeze it up then that would be GREAT.

I always freeze part of a cheese cake when I make one. Doesn't seem to be a problem so I would think your casserole would be fine.

I have frozen cream cheese in the package before and it seperates upon thawing but you should be ok since it is in a casserole.
