Can you genetically select for quieter ducks?

Many of us don't realize how vocal ducks can be. Thankfully we don't have close neighbors for mine to get on someone's nerves. But I actually like to hear my girls quack it's very cute. And boy if my drakes had as loud of mouths as my girls they would probably be above the girls in loudness because they talk every breathe.

I have one 'Court Announcer' (a khaki Campbell of all things) and everyone else is quiet when they aren't upset. Considering she's not the size of the next smallest duck I have, I found it hilarious how loud she was.

Mine will be penned next spring so there is no need for her though so she is the KC I'm moving along (mainly for other reasons), but once she's sold, I can come back to report if the flock goes quiet or not
