Can you give a chicken benadryl?

Surviving chick has improved a great deal, I'm glad to report. No, no forcefeeding seems to be necessary, just came back from checking, and eyes are open and it's walking (gingerly) and eating and drinking. Standing in sugar water, actually. Feet have changed a bit, still swollen, but a little less angry looking and I'm beginning to see the sting blisters under the scales, and only one toe tip (just the very tip and nail, at that) is still black. :yes Have much more hope now. I've mostly moved on from naming my poultry, but couldn't help but decide that if this chick survives, and is either a pullet or a good-natured cock, I'll have to name it Phoenix. ;)
