easy way to tell early on is feet and leg size, the male parts will be larger than the hens and pretty easy to see...later the carbuncles(sp) start filling in

I"m not familiar with Pekin but i have had mostly drakes from either hatching or a few days old or a couple weeks old lol and seen this chesty look, Muscovy definitely are the hardest to sex and some will keep you guessing for sure.
