My self-blue OEGB laid her FIRST egg the day before I planned to set some Silkie eggs. So, it the incubator it went. It is on day 4 now and is looking perfect. Should it hatch alright? I am worried about the egg being too small, or the yolk being too small, etc.

People can and do hatch out pullet eggs, but the hatch rate is usually lower because of the smaller size.

teehee... I will get pictures of it a little later. It is the first little peeper to hatch, I am waiting on 9 more (all Silkies). I am afraid to open the bator too much b/c I'm having a hard time keeping the humidity up.
