Hello, I live in Toms RIver and yes you can have up to 6 hens but no roosters.

We bought our first chicks at Easter. We got an assortment of 6 chicks. 1 bar rocked which appears to be a rooster, darn. 1 rhode island red 1 blue laced red wyandotte which now appears to be a gold laced wyandotte 1 jersey blue, 1 silver laced cochin 1 red star.
