i do have it up and running and its holding temp, i have a fan at the top sucking air and blowing it down the back past the heater and out of the gap at the bottom.
Q1: should the air be going the other way?
..
..
at the minuet i have no air holes from the out side to the in side.
Q2: how many holes what size and do i need them at the top and bottom?

the carboard will be replaced with clear plastic any help any at all i will really appreciate.

What are you using as a thermostat? What are you using as a heater? Where do you put the eggs. It is kind of hard to me. I have made incubators but not quite as unique.

Here is a pic of one that I made. Now I just use it as a hatcher.

Well, the incubator looks cool, I don't think you need to change it. I couldn't read the temperature very well. I will look again, Your incubator looks good though. I see that the heating element is behind that cardboard. I bet it will be good. I just don't think that it will hold very many eggs though. If you could explain that further, Are you going to put racks in the incubator for the eggs to sit on?

thanks quintinp
it will hold 30 eggs 2 trays of 15 i have put a tray in just to show you, i need to make a auto turner yet.

I would put the 4 holes, two at the top sides and two at the bottom sides of the incubator, about as big as a wine cork, and if you can, get some wine corks, for the holes, for when you need to plug those holes.
