Hello! First of all, thank you to all of you who contribute to this thread, it has been a tremendous resource a new chicken keeper!

I recently took home this new addition to my flock, I was told it was a favorelle, it has five toes but not really feathers on it legs. The more I research I’m starting to wonder if it is actually a dorking. Can anyone provide any insight?

Thank you!

Thank you so much for you reply! I think so too. I’m curious what others might think?

Silver Grey Dorking, just like the two I have!

Thank you!

Welcome to BYC. I would guess an 'old lady' silver Dorking.
Thank you! What do you mean by ‘old lady’? Because it is such an old breed? I’m pretty sure she is about 8 months old... so I was told!

Thank you all kindly for your input! I now feel very confident that she is a dorking! I look forward to more correspondence in the future!
