I have two of these that hatched from a batch of eggs from someone I bought from Ebay. I have previously ordered and hatched Denizli longcrowers from them and they appear like denizli longcrowers as the standard states. These chicks were supposed to be Malay. Now there is a breed standard for Malay and I own a young adult pair of Malay. The standard calls for yellow legs and dark shanks (not black shanks) only in black solid individuals which are rare in malay. I also have O Shamo chicks and there is a breed standard for them also. As you will see in the pics, both of the chicks (I only took pics of one) hatched the same, they have this weird yellow head striping, a chocolatey body tone, a thin line of fuzz running down coal black legs. I've never hatched anything like it but the malay standard does NOT have fuzz or feather legged birds in it. Malays are naked leg, naked heel. The seller has quite a few breeds including Malays, sumatra, large fowl cochins, some other gamefowl breeds and they mentioned when I sent the pics that they did own and breed black langshans which I've seen at shows but am not totally familiar with. I do know that they are solid black, dark legged with feather legs and feet. They hatched from a large, brown egg marked "Malay" on it. These were the only two that hatched and their malays in their pics were white or red pyle type with yellow legs. Not dark feathered or with dark legs. So do you think it's langshan malay cross or something else? They are absolutely useless to me except to see what they grow up looking like and I spent alot of money on several groups of eggs from this seller who hasn't offered any recourse for mixed breed eggs at this point.
