Can you justify this one?? Hey teach!

The teacher had better give him the exam or the teacher should be censured.

That is absolutely ridiculous.

Overkill is overkill and this teacher needs to be taught a serious lesson and he should have consequences for this rash behavior.

uncalled for...

Has he had problems with this teacher before? My daughter always seemed to be a "teacher"s pet" (although her academics leave something to be desired) but always had trouble with one teacher because my daughter was not in sports(teacher was a coach). This teacher would nit-pick everything about her.

Glad we had a good teacher speak up here.

The behavior was rash and uncalled for on the teacher's part.

Well, not being there it's hard to say, but,,,, where did he get the eraser? Did he reopen a backpack to get it? To me it sounds like overkill too, but I don't know where he had the eraser. If it was in his backpack or pack or bag, whatever, he should have told the proctor, I need my eraser it is in my backpack, and the proctor would probably say fine and watch him get it. But if he had already entered the testing area, then left it to get the eraser then he was breaking test protocol. Hard to say!

He had not yet walked into the testing room. I don't know where the eraser was, but all of the kids were stowing their gear and then going into the room for the exam, she stopped him from going in.

I will be sure to let you all know what comes of the meeting with the teacher and administrator/principle. Mom is meeting with them Monday mid morning. I don't think the teacher needs harsh reactions either. I just think the teacher has a bug up her hiney for some reason.......

Parent does not understand (or possibly care) that the teacher has said Susie's name so many times that it's chanted in his/her sleep by now. "Susie, turn around. Susie, stop talking and do your work. Susie, if I have to call you down one more time..."

If a teacher is doing thier job the parents would know just that.................... Keystonepaul

And if the parent was doing their job Susie's name wouldn't have to be repeated in the first place.
