Very cute. If your coop and run are secured safely using hardware cloth, not chicken wire, then you have nothing to fear from dogs or possums, or anything!

wow! they're usually nocturnal unless they're sick. be careful. i have one that lives under my deck...see her occasionally walking the top of the fence. drives the dog nuts! if it behaves agressively, run for cover and call wildlife rescue.

They always have a sleepy surprised look on their face, or something like that. I love the picture, he must not be too scared of you to let you take a pic that close, or do you have a big boy lens? I like possums, love to see them lope along.

So refreshing to see a post here about wildlife that does not show a dead animal someone is so proud they killed! Everything can live in harmony if you do your part. I have never lost a bird to a predator.
