I put my eggs in on 5/10 for half and 5/11 for the other. Today, I candled them. My eggs had speckled dots inside them and no veins or anything. Is it too early to say or is something wrong with my eggs?

On day 5 I could see veins in my eggs very well. Idk, if this is the case for all eggs though.

could you post a pictures? the spots you saw were most likely the pores of the egg.

Wait until day 7 for light eggs and day 10 for colored/dark eggs.

Also, how bright is your light? BRIGHT LEDs work best

After a week, the veins should be very clearly when candling. While I always have problem to candle the green/blue eggs, even some cream ones.

I can't post pics but I'll describe them. They have dots in them, all over though very light. With the worst one, you can see the dots without candling. My light is 60 watt. And thank you!

What if the veins aren't seen clearly? Will they still have a chance of hatching?

How long do you suggest waiting? Did I harm the eggs by doing it too early?

the spots are the pours in the egg. I've heard that these eggs aren't ideal for hatching, but I'm incubating one right now and it's on day 17 and doing great! I would at least give them a few days to see if anything develops
