Can you successfully decode my candling results?

My small led candler I ordered from incubator warehouse allowed me to candle the eggs, with the lights out right in the incubator from the top. I don't candle before a week is up because I drive myself nuts doing it and worrying. With this candler I could see veins in all 40 eggs, clearly, in a week. My eggs go from lt. brown to dark brown and then the blues. Even in the blues I cold see clearly. Once I saw veins I was good.

COOL! So you think I shouldn't candle before they're a week old?

Also, make sure the room is PITCH BLACK otherwise you probably won't see anything.

Check out this thread for what you should be seeing: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=261876

The first time I candled was very confusing. I have done it several times now and I am starting to get better but no expert. Some things that helped me would be a very dark room, a bright light, and don't rush it. My headlight lamp worked best because it curved with the egg. When my light comes from the top by the air space it really helps. Move the light around until you get to see the different areas. A light (white) eggs helps to see what you are looking for. Dark green eggs are still hard for me to see. And last - if there is any doubt - wait. I just had a chick hatch that had 2 question marks that I put on it.

That means that I was not sure twice but kept it.

Good luck!
