Can you take ducklings outside for a few minutes?

When I hopefully get my duckling, I would love to take it outside everyday when I feed my chickens just to get her used to them and vice versa. Its summer right now so its not too cold for the duckling and I will supervise her when she's near them, Works? If not, any ideas to get them used to each other to avoid pecking when the duckling is old enough to live outside with them?
Thank you in advance!

I've had a few day old chicks outside when it was maybe 75 degrees F. As long as the ducklings aren't shivering I would think your good. Just remember to have food and water for them if they get hungry or thirsty. I always would keep watch for any occasional predator. Enjoy your ducks if you happen to get any and hope this helped!!

If your weather is good and you have a secure environment, yes it's fine that all said, i would suggest a pen, like puppy playpen, a rabbit enclosure etc, i would let the ducks see the chickens but not be able to be touched, chickens love to peck and could injure a young duck.

Actually this is how i intro new ducks to my main flock, by allowing them to see, speak but not touch, gets everyone familiar but lessens the risk of injury.
