Yes, they come in BBS and white. We were told they were blue Bresse.![]()
Well they aren't blue Bresse, even though they are an actual breed, your birds aren't it.We were told they were blue Bresse.![]()
The farm we ordered them from claimed to have only American Bresse. White, black and blue. Theses were the only two out of 12 we incubated that hatched. How can you tell they aren’t true Bresse?Well they aren't blue Bresse, even though they are an actual breed, your birds aren't it.
They might be "American" Bresse. Technically though, the standards behind Bresse are unclear. And Bresse aren't even accepted into the APA. The main thing that makes me think they are not Bresse is because of their earlobes, but technically, American Bresse that are found in hatcherys do not have a standard specifically for the earlobe color. So it would make sense if they are "American" Bresse. The farm we ordered them from claimed to have only American Bresse. White, black and blue. They’ve got the signature blue legs. The farm we ordered them from claimed to have only American Bresse. White, black and blue. Theses were the only two out of 12 we incubated that hatched. How can you tell they aren’t true Bresse?
Yes, American Bresse. They weren’t born in France, that’s true. They might be "American" Bresse. Technically though, the standards behind Bresse are unclear. It might be enough, though it depends on the rooster.I agree that they're both boys. 8 hens are not enough for 2 cockerels, especially young ones.
