Can you tell what's wrong with her. graphic pic

I cleaned her up a couple days ago, applied BLUE LOTION because there was a little bleeding around the vent, and kept her inside over night. This was her this morning so I cleaned her up again.

There is also another one showing the same signs but not as bad. Both are now inside. Very smelly!
They seem to be acting normal other wise.
We have 9 hens and one roo. They are inside the coop most of the time now on account of the cold weather. They get fresh water daily and eat layer pellets and get scratch twice a day. Scraps and treats once and a while. All are 7 mos. old.
As I type, the worse of the two is discharging the poo that has the consistancy of water. She seems to be eating some of her feathers. At first I mistook this as preening. Are they lacking something in their diet?

at 7 mo old, what breed are they and have they started laying eggs yet? and have they laid any eggs since they have come inside?

i can only think that part of the bald butt is that they are getting a lot of poop (or egg goo) stuck to the feathers closest to the vent and plucking them off, sometimes other hens may help too and get a little 'nippy'.

i can only think of her being egg bound with an internally broken egg and that being the cause of the yellow goo.

These are BRs and we have a few BOs. All have been laying for a couple of months. She did not lay the night she stayed in however. We've gone from 7-9 eggs a day to 5-6 so maybe a couple are not laying.
Now that you say it, a couple more have balding butts but not the discharge.
I recently got rid of a BO roo that was very rough on them and contributed the feather loss to him.

She could be an internal layer. The goo is leaking out of her

I found someone else w/ the same problem described in the Oct/Nov Backyard Poultry mag. The response to the person was:

There is a fungal disease often called vent gleet. It is sometimes called thrush, too. It can usually be treated with betadine (and iodine treatment). Just spray the affected area every couple of days, and it should clear up fairly quickly. If this doesn't help, then it's probably an internal problem. She may have lymphoid leukosis, a viral disease that affects hens as they get older. (not anything that can be done if this is the case)

Thanks TinyBirds, I'll do a search for vent gleet when I get back from work.
I soaked them both in warm water yesterday and put them in a dog crate. I can't tell if I feel an egg or not. This morning the better of the two was being a little hard on the other so out in the coop she went. Her loss, it's -15 F this morning. (12F in there)
The one inside is eating and drinking fine and does not seem uncomfortable. We'll see tonight.
