I keep my house pretty cold during the Winter and I wear more clothing, so I don't think I could get a domestic bird.

They can be acclimated…..just need to be draft free and no sudden changes. I keep my budgies outside with heated room set at 60 but has dropped to 40’s inside with lower temps outside in winter with no major issues
