Hi

I'm located in the Lower Mainland area and would like to know who in this area sells chicks. I am totally new to BYC and raising chickens - still in the research phase. The coop is almost finished, so very soon I'll be needing to get some chicks.
Thanks!

Is there anyone in The Okanagan Area of BC that breeds Banties and any Type of Turkey?

I'm wanting a few Banties to sit on some eggs and raise the chicks next year and I'm wanting to get a breeding pair of turkeys as well as I'm tired of ordering from Rochester Hatchery.

Hi,
I was really excited to find this thread. We are in Lloydminster, Alberta and have:

Barred Plymouth Rocks
Red Sussex
Easter Eggers

Rouen Ducks
Pekin Ducks

Bronze Turkeys

Right now I have a Sicilian Buttercup rooster and a Mille Fleur Belgian Bearded D'Uccle rooster that I'd be willing to trade for purebred white cornish, marans, or pretty much any dual-purpose breed. I'd also be willing to let go some of my white leghorn hens for the above.

Thanks!
Alex

Here is a website that some east coasters may be interested in. It seems to be very new and not very active, but the more maritimers that get on board, the better. http://maritimepoultryswap.com/

I think it may be simply a shortage of newfies, but I seem to have a website for you. I haven't been all through it so I do not know the quality nor content as its been a while since I have visited it. Lets face it, it would cost me a small fortune to buy chicks from Newfoundland. Anyway, if you want to check out this site, for Newfoundlanders here it is.

Hi
We are looking to expand our flock and are looking for a breeder in Southern Ontario, Canada. We would love to find any fancy breeds!
Thanks:)

I no longer have Barred Rocks, Orpingtons, and Dorkings.
I have Wyandottes, Brahmas, and Sussex but I am not going to be breeding much next year.
