Hi @Nigel27 !
Are you raising any particular breed or barnyard mixes?
Hatching is rather addictive isn't it?
I’m working with what I’ve got. I seem to be one of the only people who’s chickens in Nuxalk valley haven’t been eaten by bears, so I’ve got 40 more in the incubator lol I’m pretty new and thought I wanted to raise black meat chickens that are bigger and better layers than AC,and maybe blue eggers( but maybe not the best addition to the equation as the blue egg gene drops egg production) so far it’s seems to be working, Two of my half AC Girls are laying everyday. They just had a few of their first chicks and one looks pure black! And twenty something of their eggs are in one incubator due on Monday and the 40 others are mostly theirs too.
What kind do you have?

holy moly!
Are you adding light to keep them laying?

I raise buckeyes & chanteclers. I am trying to get cream brabanters going as well, but I only have 1 pullet & 1 cockerel, so it's going to be a while before they're up & running.

Good choices! Keep those breeds alive.
I have an led cabinet light in each coop on until about 9, but it’s their first year laying, starting in the fall so they might lay through winter. I probably just jinxed it though
