Oh that sucks. Probably because our Souris is a tourist attraction with the swinging bridge and all I bet...lol.hahaha yes every time I do a search online about Souris here I have to type Souris, PEI lol or it gives me results of Souris, Manitoba
It is pretty small lol in the winter around 1000 people in the summer it is full with tourists. A lot of people who have houses and lands here stay here from May to November like a summer retreat.Oh that sucks. Probably because our Souris is a tourist attraction with the swinging bridge and all I bet...lol.
How big is Souris, PEI?
unless your into sleds and skiis.
I'm glad our snow melted when it hit the ground and that we're back up to 15C again.
I just got done combining our last field of flax about supper time...lol.
Will the snow stay for good...or is there a chance it'll go away?
Quote: That's pretty neat!
This Souris is a summer attraction as well, but mainly for the large camping grounds situated in close proximity to the recent splashpark/pool that was built.
It's around the 1800 mark for people. A lot of people also work in Brandon, the closest city and live in Souris.
I hear you! Same here...I don't want to snow.Oh no! I dont want snow yet. I want my chickens run around still!
Quote: Ugh. I hope your snow goes away because that would make it an INCREDIBLY long winter...lol.
Here we can expect snow on Halloween night and it's not uncommon that it stays.
I hope for this fall to be like last fall...we didn't get snow until December. It was great!
Oh no! You too? I don't have a run but I'm sure having a flooded run is not a pleasant issue. Neither is asking the hubby to help with another task.we've just got hit with the heavy rains from the storms coming in, still one more to go...and parts of the run are already flooded. Just the start of the rain too, but **** it sure is a lot coming down for this time of the year!!![]()
The run overall isn't too muddy yet, so I'm hoping that it'll be fine and not too bad through the winter then, otherwise some fixing up is in order.
Definitely found some points to keep in mind next time we build a coop too, there is certain things that we had not realized that in hindsight would have been nice (not necessary) to avoid. Such as getting drenched when getting eggs out of the nesting boxes from the outside because that's where the roof ends... perhaps's we'll add gutters to it, just another task that the hubby will want to hear about!![]()

(Mine SO loves my asking too)Um, not...lol!![]()
We were finally just starting to get close to thinking it was going to finally get dry. But Mothernature was just teasing us...lol!
I did get combining yesterday so we're done for the year.![]()
haha he always rolls his eyes at me...one week it's a new coop...then the run...then a new grow out pen...and a brooder...I hear you! Same here...I don't want to snow.
