Canadians check in here....

@Albertan That wyandotte is a beauty! I'm definitely putting at least one on my list for next year!

When I couldn't replace my retired production reds this year, I branched out quite a bit and got some of the ones off my "But is that practical...?" List ;) And I haven't regretted a single minute of it! Most are beautiful mixes, but I did snag a couple cochins, an Isbar, a pair of silkies and a lovely bunch of itty bitty polish chicks even after I swore I was done with the brooder this year

Here's a few of the seasons peepers

All my chickies are new this year! I have 3 hens and 11 chicks. Will try and post pics over the weekend. I certainly have been taking a lot of shots with the camera. Everything they do seems picture worthy. :love

Haha it's so true... I think I have more pics of my chickens than my kids at this point... I use the amount of crap in the background, in both cases, to decide what to upload

Hello! I'm near Belleville, Ontario. New to BYC. Recently brought home 4 Ancona ducklings, we are loving them . Hoping to get started with chickens maybe in the spring!
Welcome :frow It is always nice to see new Canadians joining the flock. You will find all the information you need for starting with chickens here and some other info as well.
