All my chickies are new this year! I have 3 hens and 11 chicks. Will try and post pics over the weekend. I certainly have been taking a lot of shots with the camera. Everything they do seems picture worthy.

@Albertan That wyandotte is a beauty! I'm definitely putting at least one on my list for next year!

When I couldn't replace my retired production reds this year, I branched out quite a bit and got some of the ones off my "But is that practical...?" List And I haven't regretted a single minute of it! Most are beautiful mixes, but I did snag a couple cochins, an Isbar, a pair of silkies and a lovely bunch of itty bitty polish chicks even after I swore I was done with the brooder this year

Haha it's so true... I think I have more pics of my chickens than my kids at this point... I use the amount of crap in the background, in both cases, to decide what to upload

Boy we are sure suffering with this heat. Gave my hens, Roos and older chicks some electrolytes and poultry vitamins this morning... hope it helps them get through the day...
