Hello from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan!

I'm really getting into the poultry this year; right now I have one or more chicks of all the following breeds: Rhode Island Red, Ameraucana/EE, Australorp, Gold Laced Wyandotte, and I just picked up some Salmon Faverolles and Buff Chantecleres. Some will join my layer flock, but most are destined for the table; I'm kind of getting a feel this year for what varieties I like enough to want to work with. It's also my first year trying the Cornish X (I have 25 out in a tractor), still not sure what I think of them.

I've also become rather enchanted with geese after picking up three adult Embden crosses at an auction, and I'm now trying to get started with some of the heritage goose breeds. Presently I have 4 American Buff goslings, and I'm searching for more Pilgrim geese (I have one lonely young gander so far). Pilgrim geese seem to be few and far between in my neck of the woods!

I'm looking for buck services for Cissy and Mione (Pygmy crosses, possibly with Nigerian Dwarf). Both girls are CAE negative and I'd prefer a buck from a CAE/CL negative herd. Looking to possibly send them away for breeding, as we don't currently have accomodation for a buck.

Nigerian Dwarf bucks need only apply

Looking between Picton and Marmora, and Tweed and Warkworth.

I can be PM'd through BYC.

I am in Meaford, ON - I saw someone else is also here from Meaford so if you are out there "hi!"

We have 4 BR who are now 8 weeks old. We ordered them from the Huron Bay Co-op in Markdale (probably from Frey's).

They have been living outside for two weeks - but my husband is still working on the coop, but it is nearly done. We are adding the "finishing touches" and making it as safe as possible. I will post proper pictures soon of our progress.
