CANCELED - Sept 13th - NC Meet Up in Burlington

I dont mean to be a pain but if you read all the threads here we still have an "I was thinking 9-1" and "I have to confirm with the manager".... Is it really 9-1? has it been confirmed with the manager? Please lets get this firmed up before its too late to make plans.

It is Sept 13th - I am calling the manager today, he has been out of town so I haven't been able to get in contact with him.

If it's a go, then I'm there also....I may bring some extra "yard chickens" - just a couple of months old. Also, can I bring cats? Anyone looking for a 6-toed "thumb" cat? I've only been in NC a year - where is Cawtawba (sp) county? Is it anywhere near between Wilkes county and Burlington?

Well Crap, we can't use their parking lot as the actual parking lot doesn't belong to them. So it looks like it is going to have to be canceled unless someone finds a new place.

Didn't know the answer to your Q. so I looked it up and found this..very helpful. We have only been in NC 15 months. At the bottom is the whole state w' counties labeled.

I really hope we can work this out - gotta go to Burlington to pick up hamsters and a goat -- would really love to meet y'all and maybe swap/buy/sell some poultry

can someone closer check on Pizza Hut or Walmart? Shoot, if Walmart allows camping, why not meetings?
