just barely fell asleep and the peeping got louder so I decided to check it out and I saw one egg zipping decided to watch it and with in 5 minutes I had three chicks out lol that was so funny now I have one more zipping and 9 pipped they are rocking and rolling so far they are all BYM one yellow chick and two black with a little bit of white bet I have 6-7 chicks by morning go babies go.

Yes. Yes, I'm addicted to chickens. And on a whole new level now too. It is def an illness

BREATH BREATH IT WILL BE OK. I realize there's no cure for the disease and it will only get worst for you but you'll be ok lol

How exciting! Once ours started many of them hatched in rapid succession. Don't forget to show us pics!

My fault meaning many things. Candled too much for one. Didn't let the shipped eggs rest long enough before putting them in the incubator I don't think. Was too overbearing with adjusting temps. My first set of hatching eggs has not gone well.

My second set is already far better than my first. Lockdown for those is next week.

I'm learning from this and moving on.

Well candling really won't hurt them. You just don't want to keep them out of the bator to long, once they get cold it takes a while for them to rewarm up.

How long did you let them rest? I only allow mine to rest for 8 hours then I candle for loose air cells or detached able because you have to treat them a little different before turning them..

Came home to 9 eggs pipped and there is quite a bit of peeping going on hope everyone can reach to zip one I am worried about its beak seems to be pretty farm from the shell it is moving and peeping a lot like I said just not sure it can reach the shell. have about 15 more eggs in the say bator that are all looking good.

Lol don't worry he'll get to that shell once everyone else escapes he'll rush to get out too. It's like donminos. Woooo hoooooo

4 out I will get pics in the morning they are a loud bunch telling everyone else to hurry up lol. So Glad I upgraded to the Redwoods this is my best hatch ever already and It just started Will be interesting to see how the shipped eggs do there are 6 -7 of them.

10 babies now three more pipped and 11 more to go they did not look as far along last time I candled. still have another 40 in the other bator on lockdown I love my redwood

So I went out to check everyone this morning to find out that I have 6 chicks!!! I thought I had 5! The 3 eggs are still there too so I know it's not a new chick. There must've been one stuck under mamas wing
