Pics of the babies there were 3 more when I got home and 2 pips so looks like this batch will end with 16 and the others should start tomorrow.

Up to 15 babies and easily 10 more pips as we move on to the second batch of eggs there were 58 eggs total due to hatch I did peek quick like and looks like out of the remaining eggs only two are deceased. Now I am kind of scrambling going to have to put together a much bigger brooder my other brooder is full of 6 week old chicks, And that brooder takes up almost my whole porch, By the way wanted to let everyone know I hatched these eggs up right in cartons there were about 8 they all started out with detached air cells so far 4 have hatched with no assistance very healthy chicks I think this will be the way I do things from now on.

Well... there was sort of a silver lining to all of this. I did get to bring some some silkie chicks since my first batch of eggs was almost a total failure.
