Candled at day 4. Not seeing a whole lot

So I’ve candled only three times total and today with it being the last time until lockdown. I think I’ve lost a couple more. It is the 16th day and I’m curious on whether these are considered blood rings?

is there another test she can do for all of them that is non-invasive/dangerous ?
is there something like a water test ?

its best not to mess with them .. give them till 10-14 days, mainly, you dont want an exploded rotten mess and you wont in that time period, just dont forget about it totally for 3 weeks .. but at 10-14 with a powerful led flashlight you can see if an egg is clear and sloshy or not .. if its got a dark mass and a air pocket formed your in business lol ..

Can they be "slow" to develop? If the temperature was not right at first (or she started counting too soon), maybe they are not 16 days right now and she could wait? Or are those images non-viable eggs?

As long as I see veins there is life
I just had a twin egg that had good veins Friday evening
By 4am Saturday those veins were already gone as the baby tried to pip but never made the crack
I saw the bruise outside the air cell but I was to late
Moral of the story is
The veins equal life
When they go away the baby has died and it usually happens pretty fast
The egg won’t explode if there is still veins

Is it safe to use a Sharpie on eggs? It’s so hard to see pencil. Not incubating but have a broody hen on day 4 and she’s stealing other eggs!

Yes, waterproof is better
