Candled broody's eggs last night

Last night I candled the eggs under my broody cochin, Dottie. All 12 are growing nicely. They are due to hatch next Tuesday. I hope they all hatch as it will be the first time more than 50% hatch. Keeping my fingers crossed.

When do you candle the first time?

I usually candle at 7 days and 14 days if they are in as incubator. If under a hen I usually just candle around 14 days.
