I finally have my first ever broody sitting on her nest! Woohoo

She is a Welsh Harlequin duck I hatched last year. I finally got to sneak her eggs away from the nest and candled them. Most seem to be developing with veins, but I noticed that quite a few of them are developing on one side and not in the middle of the egg as I am accustomed too. Is this a mistake on mamas part, maybe not turning her eggs as she was gearing up to set? Will they develop and hatch alright? I don't want to get a bunch of deformed partially developed ducklings that die before they hatch

, I would rather just remove them now if that is what will happen. Any thoughts greatly appreciated!

I think you just have to let mama take care of it and see how it turns out. When I candled eggs in my incubator during my first and only hatch I too thought they were a little lopsided. Because of my work schedule I could only turn 2x daily. I was concerned, but it worked out ok. 9 out of 10. Don't give up on her. You don't know what is really going on in there.
