I was shocked!!! I mean the air cells are quite large...and i see HUGE black masses...but they were not moveing around like they were on "day 10" I may have seen....SLIGHT movement...but that is all. Im starting to think they may have got too cold whem i found my bator at 98 one afternoon here recently. I could bearly make out the vains near the air cell....but everything was just soo dark...and these eggs are white!! Am i freaking out over nothing because they are banty egg's??? Reason i ask is because i candled one of my Buff. O egg's and that guy was kicking around inside his egg like a ninja! I sure hope i didn't kill them

That sounds just right to me. A solid mass of unwiggling egg is a chick ready to hatch that is too tight to stay in much longer.

I think you will be just fine. Good luck, keep us posted

I think rustyswoman is right! As long as you can see veining, even a little bit your eggs are good to go! I've read that within a few hours of embyo death you will no longer see veining.

Good luck!

It is true addiction asylum! But you are pretty smart too LOL LOL
Yes I am tired of being out of the brooder, I am just to lazy and having fun with other sites to take the time to look how far the next step takes.

I work out of my home too (not that I am getting much work done)

So I can pop into the forums alot.

Plus, I feel bad for the ones who write and don't get many answers. So, I try to help where I can and hope I am giving good instructions.

Got the hubby tucked in bed, kids are at scout camp and at friends (they grow up so fast) so now I can play all I want

I just hatched out close to 40 banty eggs about 6 weeks ago and about day 15 or so...they were filling the egg...there isnt much room in there for them to move...every once in a while we could see the vein move a bit...but not too much...
