Candling 5th Day - are these viable eggs? - pic heavy

I just candled eggs for the first time. They were put under the broody hens on Thursday night... so they are about 5 days old. I can see capillaries in a few of the eggs, but these ones just have... I dunno, dark areas, where over half the egg is completely opaque. Plus, some have spots. I am worried! The spot ones look like the one from here, https://www.backyardchickens.com/LC-candling.html that have bacterial contamination.

Saw some beautiful veins in the Exche... Leghorn egg.....I'd say the last one (at this point) is fertile!

Leghorn is good.I dont candle any chicken eggs before at least day 10-12 and duck 18-20.When I had my Sportsman Inc. basicly none got candled until hatch time.But I had a very high ferility rate on my eggs too so....Im getting ready to shut my 2 rinky LG"s here down next week have 4 egg's left in inc.And didn't get last 3 or 4 egg's hathced from my bantam columbian's I threw 6 egg's away today not bthering to incubate any more right now

We candle white eggs at a week. Browns, greens, blues, and turkey eggs not until the tenth day. Too hard to be sure one way or the other sooner than that.

With a good candler and white eggs you can candle as early as four days and see something, but at a week you can be certain.
