Candling a scrambled egg?

I had never heard of the Shockwatch stickers before your post and I just had a look at them online. What a great product! I found pricing between $113 - $120 per case of 50 which makes the per sticker price aprox $2.30 each. As someone who will be buying several boxes of hatching eggs this year I would be very willing to absorb an extra $3 per purchase for the service. If egg sellers passed the price on just as they would the price of the box and materials I bet people would pay, just for the peace of mind and knowledge it would give!

The first link has another link to a PDF showing which color of sticker to use, it looks like most boxes of hatching eggs would use the green sticker, calibrated for lightweight boxes.

I have gotten eggs shipped twice from JMajors, and both times they were marked as eggs and they were insured both times as well. My mailman usually hangs boxes on the mailbox, but both these times he brought them to the house. So I would say they treat them somewhat better. Now this time there were 3 eggs that were broken, but I doubt the P.O. will do anything about it. If the box itself were messed up (crushed, gouged or the like) the P.O. would probably pay it, but since the box looked perfect, they probably won't.

ETA: and now I'm a little sorry I looked. I found a blurb on the USPS site that says priority mail rates are going up Jan. 18 by 3.9%
