Candling an egg.

When i candle my egg, it just shows a dark solid which fills 75% of the egg.and the bottom is clear...are my ducklings dead..theres no shading between the dark solid and clear space

I agree it depends how old they are, I often see something similar about 3 or 4 days of developement for my chicken eggs. I would leave them be and candle again in a couple of days.

they've been in the incubator for 2 weeks. but i got them as eggs from this place. dont know how old they were when i got them
