It’s my first time hatching and I decided to recandle the eggs that I wasn’t sure were developing on day 7 today day 11. One egg really has me stumped about what’s happening. Since I couldn’t get pics I made some sketches. There’s movement inside the egg but it’s in the clear part. It almost looks like eye floaters/oil bubbles. There’s a dark shadow at the top of the egg around the air sac. It does not move when the egg shifts. I think I can see an embryo inside the shadow but no matter what point I candle from that shadow is still there and I can’t see through it. I candles this egg before putting it in the bator and it looked fine. So far it’s not smelly. Do they normally get smelly if they are going to explode? Do you think I should just remove it since it’s not growing well/is weird? Or do you think there may still be a healthy chick in there after all?
