I wanted to share this short candling clip I made. Candling one of my 8 Rouen duck eggs on day 10 of incubation. I am using a small incubator with mixed eggs. So far 8 out of 8 fertile duck* eggs and movement in all of them. I was caught by surprise by the amount of movement. I had not seen so much movement with my previous candler.
Day 10 is also when I start my twice-daily spray bottle on the duck eggs to increase hatch rate. I do this until day 25 when I remove the egg-turner unit from the incubator.
