Get some heavily spotted eggs and see how good it works with those....THEN I'd be sold.
oh it's well worth the price to me.. it magnifies the image (my eyes aren't what they used to be) and it also works well on really dark eggs (marans)
plus i can take pics of the eggs with my crappy cell phone and don't have to worry about trying to juggle a light, the egg and my phone!
Although pricey I would love to have this! I just love seeing the little life grow in the egg!
I also raise different parrots, and candle their eggs from time to time. It's addicting!

My son is 14 and I'm teaching him to use my camera for help. Kinda hard to hold a bird and take photos. lol..
I'm off to the store today to try and find the one Shelly mentioned, and will ask Santa's helpers for the OvaScope. ;-) Or treat me to it for my b-day which is right before Christmas. lol
