Candling question

Does anyone have tips for making a homemade candler complete with lightblocking?

I just use a strong flashlight for candling. I'm not sure how to make a different "homemade" candler.

Cool light led pen flashlight or cell phone light and a black rubber gasket to block light bleed through.

Shine a small strong flashlight at the large end of the egg. It is all you need.

Go in a dark room or closet, then use a bright flashlight. Turn off all the lights, too.
