Candling question??

I candled my eggs tonight, day 12, 5 were bad, my question is the others when I turned them the inside's moved, is that normal??? I hope so or I am in big do do trouble

Yes it is normal and a very good sign! The thing that freaks me out is when I can see the eye moving around like its lookin at me!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was freaked out by their movement.... I'm on day 9. They really don't look like cute chicks yet.

Is there supposed to be one black dot.. or two black dots?

I had the same question. I learned that it was the chick moving inside even though it looked like you were moving it. Good luck with your hatch!

What were you seeing moving? Was it the black dot or was the air sac moving around freely? If you seen the black dot then that is very good

If your seeing the airsac freely moving and not attached to the egg that isn't so good. Did you see lots of veining? Candling is always so fun

the black blob as I was turning the egg it was loose inside is the best way to describe it, the air sac's on 5 were moving, so I removed them and they were duds, the eggs are brown, did not have great sight, but 22 so far look good, will check again on day 18 before lock down thank you!!!
