Just candled my maran eggs. It is day 7. It looks like only 1 of eight is good. I think I saw an eye. It was a black spot anyway. It was the only one that looked full. Another 1 looked full, but on 1 side it looked like a ring around the middle about half way around the egg. The others all looked clear. I kept some of them on the counter for 8 days before I put in bator. Should I pitch the clear ones? What about the one that looked dark with the ring. I'm not even sure the one that looks viable is a maran. I put an extra egg in. I forgot to look at the number on it. Also for some reason, my temps are down a degree or 2. One of them even felt cooler than the others. I turned the temp up about half a hair, but I've never had to fool with the temp before. It has always kept very steady temps. When I checked this afternoon, it was ok. Will this be destructive?
