Hi all! This is my first hatch, and even though we’re on the way earliest, we thought it was so appropriate To candle tonight, Easter Sunday, which is our day 6. We had 11/20 that were beautiful and veiny with a perfect air cell, and 9 that I’m so puzzled by. A few are very spotted and so hard to see anything, and a couple that clearly have some clouding in them, but not like the clearly developed eggs. We’re planning on candling again on day 10 and 14. But I’d love to hear your thoughts and opinions for this newbie. Thanks in advance 🐥🐣🐤

That first egg is clear - not developing. The second one, the spotting you're seeing is in the shell. The egg is pourous. It's also not developing.

What is that orange in there? Could that turn into something? We have a couple that look like that.

That's just the yolk - at six days, you'd definitely see life and veins, etc if they were viable.
Thank you for your expertise!! The others were very clear with veining and the black dot, but i wasnt Sure if there was a difference in the day they were laid if those would be behind in development maybe. Thank you again for responding. I’m so thankful for this site. I’ve learned so much on here.
